Fees Avenues to Medicine, Ltd. Co. charges for the administrative service of managing and tracking prescription medications received with our assistance. The medications themselves are free of charge from the pharmaceutical companies. One-Time Application Fee: There is a one-time application fee of $25.00 which covers the processing of all initial paperwork. This fee must accompany the application form in order for us to begin the process of acquiring free medications for our client. The application fee is refunded if a client does not qualify for medications or is not accepted by any pharmaceutical companies for any medication (i.e. client does not receive at least one medication with the assistance of Avenues to Medicine). Monthly Service Fee: There is a $7.00 service fee per medication per month. This fee covers our expenses for tracking medications and managing the refill process. The refill process requires reconfirming eligibility and completing additional paperwork. We bill clients monthly based on the number of medications they received in the prior month. An example:
Your initial billing will begin approximately 4 weeks after the paperwork is sent to the pharmaceutical company for a given medication. On average, medications are received 2 to 5 weeks after the paperwork is submitted. However, if for any reason you do not receive your medication before you are billed, you should notify us. We will contact the pharmaceutical company to determine the status. Fees are due upon receipt of the billing. If you fail to pay the monthly fee, you risk not receiving any additional medications. |
